Terms & Privacy

• Goods means the appliances and related products supplied by Buyrite.
• Order means a purchase order placed by the Customer and accepted by Buyrite.
• Customer means the business or trade entity placing the Order.

Prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change, and the price payable is the price ruling at the date of delivery, not the date the order was placed, unless we have confirmed a fixed price in writing.

Payment is by direct credit or credit card. Direct credit is to account 12-3490-0036498-00. We do not accept cheques. Payment is due in accordance with your agreed trading terms with Buyrite. Overdue accounts accrue default interest at 2.5% per month on the outstanding balance until paid in full.

Ownership of the Goods remains with Buyrite until they have been paid for in full, even though risk in the Goods passes to the Customer on delivery. Buyrite may register a security interest over the Goods under the Personal Property Securities Act 1999, and the Customer agrees to do anything reasonably required to enable Buyrite to register and perfect that security interest.

Where Goods are acquired by the Customer for business purposes, the parties agree that the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply, to the extent this is permitted by section 43(2) of that Act.

The Customer must inspect the Goods on delivery. Any claim that Goods are defective or do not conform to the Order must be made to Buyrite in writing within 14 days of delivery. Goods not the subject of a claim within that period are deemed to have been accepted.

To the extent permitted by law, Buyrite's total liability arising from the supply of Goods is limited to the purchase price of those Goods, and Buyrite is not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss.

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

You must be of legal age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use this site. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable or impair it.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. Parts of the site may be provided by third-party services, and its content or functionality may change from time to time without notice.

We aim to keep information on this site accurate and current, but we make no guarantee that all content is complete, accurate or up to date. Product specifications and availability should be confirmed with us directly before you rely on them for an order.

This site may link to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by Buyrite. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site.

Your submission of personal information through the site is governed by the Privacy Policy below.

This site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Buyrite is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

You agree to indemnify Buyrite and its staff against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms of Service or your misuse of the site.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

We may suspend or terminate your access to this site at any time, without notice, if we believe you have breached these terms.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.

When you deal with us — whether placing an order, requesting a trade quote, setting up a trade account, or simply getting in touch — we may collect personal information such as your name, business or company name, email address, phone number, delivery address and order history.

We also collect aggregated, non-identifying information about how visitors use our website, which helps us understand and improve the site.

We use the information we collect to:

• process orders, quotes and trade account applications;
• respond to enquiries and provide customer service;
• arrange delivery of goods;
• maintain accurate business and accounting records; and
• improve our website and the way we communicate with trade customers.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and a Meta (Facebook) pixel, to understand how the site is used and to help us reach relevant trade audiences with our marketing. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect some features of the site.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate our business — such as delivery and freight partners, payment processors, and IT service providers — solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access and request correction of the personal information we hold about you.
